How to Use ion eXtra™
To use ion eXtra™, take a capsule every morning with a glass of water.
To experience all the benefits of taking ion eXtra™ and to maximize its effectiveness it is important to note that once you start a course of ion eXtra™ you should continue that course uninterrupted for the full 30 days.
If you forget to take your morning ion eXtra™ capsule it is best to take it as soon as possible during the same day. If you miss your capsule completely in a given day, then take your next capsule at your regular time and continue to take your course of ion eXtra™ until complete.
Eat a healthy, balanced diet and drink plenty of liquids throughout the day. Although the amount of fluids required varies from person to person based on physical exertion and geographical location, the recommended daily intake for men is 3 litres (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day and for women it is 2.2 litres (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day (The Institute of Medicine).
To maintain healthy blood pressure levels it is recommended that you take one 30 day course of ion eXtra™ at least every six months. Many people who want to stay in peak condition choose to take the supplement continuously. We recommend taking ion eXtra™ for the complete 30 day course and taking 7 days off between your next 30 course. The reason for these short breaks is that the body will become habituated and start to tune out the signals if they are completely continuous. Taking this short break means you start a new cycle of signalling when you begin your next course.
Contraindications
While ion eXtra™ does not have any side effects people taking blood thinners may experience an adverse reaction if they take ion eXtra™ at the same time. This is the result of ion eXtra™ assisting the body in rebuilding its capillary structures, however, because of the blood thinners these new capillary ends leak and form dark blotches under the skin. What this shows is that ion eXtra™ is working as intended and this is an unfortunate side effect of the blood thinners. If you are taking blood thinners, please consult your doctor for an alternative treatment before beginning a course of ion eXtra™.
This advice does not apply to patients taking anti-platelets such as Aspirin. Aspirin will not react with ion eXtra™.
Important Safety Advice
Do not suddenly discontinue taking already prescribed blood pressure medications without first consulting your doctor as doing so may be extremely dangerous. Except in the case of blood thinners it is safe to take ion eXtra™ in conjunction with your other medicines. Once you have taken your first successful course of ion eXtra™ you may then discuss with your doctor a safe and controlled reduction of your medications.
