How ion eXtra™ Works
We previously learned that capillary loss is responsible for the majority of cases of hypertension. A poorly habituated perspiratory system has blockages in the sweat ducts that are caused by improperly conserved electrolytes. Those blockages cause damage to the circulatory system, reducing the number of capillaries in the skin and the space for blood, and as a result, blood pressure rises.
The good news is that this damage can be stopped and even reversed. If we create the appearance of a constant surplus of electrolytes then our body will restore the balance by eliminating the improperly conserved electrolytes that cause the blockages in the sweat ducts. Once these blockages are removed our body has the ability to repair the damaged capillaries.
By taking ion eXtra, we are able to continuously signal to our body that it does in fact have this surplus of electrolytes and it quickly gets to work fixing the problem.
The ion eXtra capsule seals small amounts of electrolytes, (sodium, potassium, magnesium and chloride) within a coating. The coating is permeable to gas but not to liquid. The solid electrolytes within the capsule attract water molecules via gas in the same manner as if the electrolytes were dissolved in water, so that epithelial cells in the digestive system recognize the presence of the electrolytes as a surplus.
This would normally activate ion transport to remove the surplus, but the electrolytes cannot dissolve because of the coating. This achieves the objective of creating the appearance of a constant surplus of electrolytes. The inappropriate conservation of electrolytes by the sweat duct transmembrane regulators is prevented. The electrolytes sealed in the capsule pass through the body unchanged as they are being used, and continue to provide an apparent surplus of electrolytes for approximately 24 hours without any side effects.
